Our local beach at Rosalie can be a surfer's paradise. The beach itself is a long, wide, black sandy beach, set in a beautiful bay.

The Atlantic ocean crashes against the coast and often the waves are absolutely perfect for catching the surf. Sometimes, however, the sea can certainly get a bit rough, so surfing is not possible every single day. Either way, a day on the beach is most definitely an exciting experience. A good time for the experienced surfer is during the hurricane season. Obviously not during an actual hurricane, but when there is one passing a fair distance out to sea, the surf can be extremely dramatic. We have a friend who rents his board to our guests, under supervision. Let us know your travel dates and we check his availability.
