trail to treehouse
first impressions

|
Set about fifteen feet above the ground,
high up in the trees in the rainforest at the back of 3
Rivers, is the latest addition to our various choices of
accommodation
our Bamboo Tree House.
To reach the tree house is about a 15 minute
uphill hike deep into the jungle.
You will be totally secluded and the only
life around you is the wildlife.

The floor is made of Boit Diabla and the
rest is a bamboo structure.
Rainwater is collected from the roof for
your supply, and we provide you with a lamp and candles.
Due to the remoteness of the tree house,
a member of staff will visit you regularly upon request.
He is there to assist you throughout your stay. If you
want him to fetch and carry, or show you the traditional
methods of cooking and general jungle living, all you
need do is ask.

The house is furnished with a double bed
and hammocks can be added for extra people.
There is a composting toilet and a shower
using the rainwater collected from the roof.
The tree house is now available for rent,
and we aim to build another one deeper in the jungle in
the near future.
